
Ingredients
- 1 TBSP OliveU!'s Garlic Basil Chili EVOO
- 2 - 3 TBSP TBSP OliveU!'s Apple Balsamic
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 2 cups sliced sweet potatoes
- 2 cups diced Gala Apple
- 1 tsp each of garlic & onion powder
- 2 tsp salt divided
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp rubbed sage divided
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- a dash of nutmeg
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 3 TBSP tomato paste
- 1- 28 oz can of Crushed Tomatoes
- 1- 15 oz can of diced tomatoes
- 1-2 cans of kidney beans light or dark
- 2 lbs Ground Turkey
Instructions
- Put 1 tbsp of garlic basil chili EVOO in pot on medium heat.
- Add in diced apples, sliced sweet potatoes and sliced carrots and top with 1 tsp of garlic and onion powder, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of black pepper,1 tsp of rubbed sage, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg.
- Mix all up with a wooden spatula and cook for about 5 - 7 minutes.
- Add in the ground turkey cook for about 5 minutes or until turkey is done, then add in tomato paste, 2 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp rubbed sage and 1 tsp salt to the mixture and mix until the tomato paste is evenly distributed.
- Lastly added in your 2-3 TBSP apple balsamic , can of crushed tomatoes, can of diced tomatoes and 1 -2 cans of kidney beans ( dark or light ) and mix well.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 30 minutes. Serve with white or brown rice top with sour cream and green onions.
