Ingredients
- 3 or 4 Pork Chops
- 4 Cherry Peppers (Hot or Sweet)
- 4 Cloves of Garlic
- 3 tbs Sicilian Blend EVOO
- 1/4 cup 25 Star Dark Balsamic
- 1/2 cup Vinegar (from the pepper jar)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep: Chop the onions and garlic. Cut up the cherry peppers and remove the seeds.
- Season: Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides. Score the edges of the chops with small knife slices (this prevents them from curling).
- Sear: In a skillet over medium heat, add the Sicilian Blend EVOO and the garlic. Sauté until the garlic is lightly brown. Add the pork chops and brown them on both sides, then remove them from the pan and set aside.
- Sauté Veggies: Add a little more oil to the pan if needed. Add the onions and peppers and sauté until soft.
- Deglaze: Add the 25 star balsamic to the pan.
- Simmer: Return the pork chops to the skillet. Let them cook on one side for 3–5 minutes, then turn the chops over and spoon the onion/pepper mixture over the top.
- Finish: Continue cooking for about 15 minutes or until the pork reaches your desired temperature. Add salt and peppers to taste.
