Habanero Honey Balsamic Steak Fajitas

Ingredients

Ingredients for Fajitas:

  • 1 lb flank steak or skirt steak
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers green & red, sliced
  • 1 sm jalapeno, seeds removed & sliced
  • 2 tbsp Olive U Garlic Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup jack cheese shredded
  • flour or corn tortillas

Marinade for Steak:

Instructions

  • Add all marinade ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Pour mixture into a ziplocbag and add the steak. Marinade overnight for best flavor or at least 4 hrs.
  • Heat a grill to medium high heat. add the steak and cook for 4 minutes each sideLet the steak rest on cutting board for serval minutes before cutting into it.
  • While the steak is resting, heat the olive u garlic oil in a cast iron skillet on medium high heat. Add bell pepper slices and diced jalapeno to skillet and cook, stirring frequently for 4 - 5 minutes. Add onions and cook for another 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Slice the steak into long, diagonal strips.
  • Assemble the fajitas by adding steak veggies and fresh cilantro to a flour or corntortilla. Enjoy!
